The Ox Chair is one of Hans Wegner's most dramatic designs — the horned headrest gives it an unmistakable silhouette that no other chair from the period approaches. Wegner designed it in 1960, and Erik Jørgensen took over production, maintaining the same exacting standards. This example is upholstered in vegetable-tanned leather, warm and natural in tone, built to develop real character over decades of use. The Ottoman is included. At 99 centimetres wide and deep it is a chair that fills a room completely: big, sculptural, and completely assured. One of the great Danish chairs of the 20th century.
