The Mammoth is NORR11's best known chair, and the reason is obvious the moment you sit in it. A deep, generously tufted wool seat and high back are wrapped in a curved oak shell, so the chair comfortable and architectural at once — the wool does the comfort, the timber does the shape. The frame is solid oak with oak veneer across the seat and back, hand-finished.

This one is upholstered in a soft grey felted wool on an oiled oak frame — a quiet, textural combination that sits as easily in a reading corner as it does beside a fireplace.
